RISE: A Retreat for Women Leading Change

is a Chicago-based event series + feminine leadership community hosted by Gina Marotta + Amy Galvin. The 2024 retreat dates are on Saturdays Jan 13, Apr 6, June 22, and Sept 21.  Each event runs from 10 am-5 pm CST at 420 W. Huron, Chicago, IL 60654.

What is RISE? 

RISE is a series of retreats in Chicago - occuring at the start of each season - to empower and inspire women with next level, mystical and cutting edge women's empowerment content and by connecting with other like-minded awakened women doing business in Chicago. You can attend one or multiple events in the series.

Can I attend the retreat over Zoom?

No, the event is in person only. If you live out of town, you are invited to travel to us. If you need assistance with Chicago accomodations, feel free to reach out to the event hosts.

Can men attend? 

This event is a woman-focused event that intends an inclusive definition of women. We are welcoming and respectful of women, including trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and anyone who identifies as a woman in a way that is significant to them. We love our brothers of the rose, however, tickets are reserved for people who identify as women. Men who are interested in this content are encouraged to reach out individually to the event hosts.

Can I bring my children?

The retreat is designed for women and mothers and not suitable for children. Please contact event host amygalvin05@gmail.com if childcare is preventing you from attending the event.

How much are the tickets?
Tickets range from $333 - $1,500. Your event hosts created a tiered ticket system to allow each attendee to pay a price that is commesurate with your resources and passions.

​

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable. If you purchase a ticket and later discover you cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket to another person by emailing amygalvin05@gmail.com.

​

Do I need to create a paypal account to pay for tickets?

Nope! If you do not have a paypal account, simply select the credit card option to bypass the Paypal account login/creation.  

​

What does my ticket include?
A ticket for the RISE retreat includes: 

- preparation materials sent to you upon registration

- attendance at the retreat 

- post event support through an additional Zoom gathering

​

I have a promo code, how do I use it?

Go to the registration page and select the ticket option you wish to purchase then click the “checkout” button. Once you get to the check out page, on the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see a box that says “enter coupon code.” This is where you will enter the promo code. Complete the registration steps from there. 

​

Can tickets be purchased at the door on the day of?

No. Tickets will close on the date listed in the event description or sooner if the event sells out.

How can I sponsor or donate to the RISE retreat?

What if I can’t afford a ticket, but I would really like to attend?

If finances feel tight right now, but you really want to come to the event please email event host amygalvin05@gmail.com to learn about scholarship opportunities. 
 

attending the LIVE retreat

Where is the retreat happening?

The live gathering will take place in Chicago inside the Luxury Living Chicago office space at 420 W. Huron.

Is parking available?
Yes, we recommend:

365 W. Huron Parking Lot - $24 for 13 hours - pay online with this link

Is this location accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, the venue is accessible for individuals with disabilities. If you require special accommodations, please indicate what support you need during ticket registration, or reach out the event hosts for further assistance.

Will there be food or beverages?

Water, coffee, and tea service will be available througout the day. In addition, a light nourishing lunch will be provided to support meat-eating, vegan, and gluten-free diets. 

​

What should I wear?
Wear what brings you joy, feels comfortable, or makes you feel the most like you. All levels of dress are welcome - dressy formal, casual fabulous, business attire, or super extra.
 
What should I bring?
Bring a journal and pen for writing and if you feel called: bring a crystal or any other token you want to charge with positive energy at the event.

When will I receive a zoom link for the Rise Zoom gathering?
The Rise Roundtable gathering on zoom is recommended but not required. The zoom link will be sent out a few days following the retreat

​

Will I be able to watch a recording if I can’t attend live?

No, the Zoom gathering will not be recorded for privacy purposes
